OET
Sheath(PE) / Core(PET) Low Melting Fiber
OET, which is produced by bicomponent spinning technology with polyethylene (sheath) and polyester (core), has softer characteristics than LMF and bulkier characteristics than OEP, and used for multi-functional materials to get hydrophilic or hydrophobic properties and high lofted soft non-woven.
Feature
Good Heat Sealing Properties
The low melting point of PE in sheath part give the fiber good heat sealing properties.
Excellent Soft Touch with High Loft
OET is softer than normal polyester LMF because of Olefin(PE)`s low modulus.
Selective Function
As occasion demands, hydrophilic or hydrophilic properties can be selected and provided.
Safe for Human Body
Using OET, Resins toxic to human body are not needed.
High Bulkiness
OET has bulkier characteristics than OEP.
Good Resistance to Various Chemicals
OET has excellent chemical resistance to most acids and alkalis at room temperature.
